YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Effective September 9, 2026 · Version 1.0

TownSwoop is a local-services marketplace and business scheduling platform operated by Xtronix LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy explains how we handle personal information in the TownSwoop apps, public booking pages, and related services.

1. Information we collect

We collect the name, email address, authentication information, and account role you provide. Passwords are processed through our authentication provider and are not visible to TownSwoop. Providers may add business descriptions, categories, location details, service areas, hours, staff details, services, prices, policies, logos, portfolio images, and service photos.

We process favorites, appointments, selected services and options, customer notes, requests, waitlists, reviews, messages, provider-configured automatic replies, payment status, tips, transaction references, and subscription status. Providers may keep private client notes, tags, and scheduling records.

We process images you choose to upload for a business logo, portfolio, or service. Business and service images are public when attached to a visible listing. The app’s image editor processes cropping and adjustments before upload.

We also process session tokens, request logs, timestamps, error information, and security signals needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect TownSwoop. We do not currently use third-party advertising SDKs or sell personal information for money or targeted advertising.

2. Location, calendars, and notifications

With device permission, TownSwoop uses your approximate or precise current location while you use discovery features to show nearby businesses and services. Your device location is used for the current search and is not stored in your TownSwoop account. You may search another place manually and change the radius.

Providers choose what business location to publish. On-site businesses may publish a street address or an entrance pin when address lookup is inadequate. Mobile and online providers may publish a service area and radius without a street address. Published business locations and service areas are visible to marketplace users.

If you enable notifications, we process a device push token and delivery information so we can alert you about bookings, changes, messages, and account activity. Push alerts exclude private booking notes and payment details.

Providers may choose a writable calendar connected to their phone. TownSwoop reads the calendar names needed for selection and writes or updates TownSwoop appointment events. The events stay with the device or selected calendar service. TownSwoop does not copy unrelated events to our servers, and its calendar entries exclude private customer booking notes.

3. How we use information

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the services, and compliance with legal obligations. Optional device permissions can be withdrawn in phone settings.

  • Create and secure accounts and provider listings.
  • Show nearby businesses and directions.
  • Provide scheduling, messaging, waitlists, reviews, payments, subscriptions, calendars, and notifications.
  • Connect customers and providers and preserve booking records.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, double-booking, and unauthorized access.
  • Respond to support, legal, and safety requests; maintain and improve the services; and enforce our agreements.

4. How we share information

We do not give providers access to unrelated accounts, bookings, businesses, or private messages. Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

  • Customers and providers receive the details needed to provide or receive a service. Public provider profiles, reviews, photos, service details, location or service area, and availability are visible to marketplace users.
  • Supabase supports authentication, databases, storage, and server functions; Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver alerts; Stripe supports hosted payments, payouts, and subscriptions; Apple and Google support maps, directions, and device calendars; and Hostinger-hosted email delivers account messages.
  • We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.

5. Payments

Appointment payments and provider subscriptions may be processed by Stripe, Apple, or Google. TownSwoop receives the amount, currency, payment or subscription status, and transaction references needed to provide the service and maintain records. TownSwoop does not receive or store full card numbers entered in Stripe’s hosted checkout.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, payment, safety, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record and applicable law. Limited security or transaction records may remain after deletion where required or reasonably necessary.

Delete your account inside the app from You → Legal & account → Delete account. This removes your profile, owned provider listings and media, customer bookings, messages, favorites, reviews, waitlists, provider-management data, notification tokens, and other account-linked app data. Deleting an owned business also removes that business’s TownSwoop booking history for its customers. Data held by payment processors, calendar providers, email systems, or another party may remain under that party’s policy or as required by law. Deleting a TownSwoop account does not cancel an Apple, Google Play, or Stripe subscription; cancel through the same store or payment provider before deleting. If you cannot access the app, use our Account Deletion page or email admin@townswoop.com from your account email.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and provider listing in the app and disable location, photos, calendar, or notification permissions in device settings. Providers control listing visibility and optional business features.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a privacy authority. Email admin@townswoop.com to make a request. We may verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires it.

8. International use

TownSwoop is designed for worldwide use with an initial focus on the United States and Caribbean markets. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. We use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.

9. Children

TownSwoop is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Providers must be old enough to enter a binding contract. A minor may use a customer account only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information contrary to this section.

10. Security and changes

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, protected device session storage, database isolation, and other safeguards. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and device and contact us about suspected unauthorized access.

We may update this policy as TownSwoop changes. We will post a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
